Maybe. Our goal is not to get you a lot of inquiries, only good ones. Our philosophy is to give potential tenants as much information and visuals about your property (as well as your policies) and let them decide if the property is what they are looking for.

Sorry, there is no discount. And honestly, we prefer to take the pictures. Our goal is to help you lease your property and pictures are one of the best tools to so. (remember that "a picture is worth a thousand words" saying?) We pride ourselves on the quality of our photography and our attention to detail.

Is there a limit to the number of pictures that can be posted with my ad?
   
 
Not really. Our goal is to properly represent your property to potential tenants. We will include pictures of all appropriate rooms and of the exterior. If your property has many unique details that warrant emphasis, we recommend using a featured property listing.

How long does it take the typical property to lease on your site?
   
 
Unfortunately we don't have statistics on that issue. Some move quick, some take longer. We recommend listing your property up to 3 months in advance if possible. Not because we think it is going to take that long to lease but because many people searching our site are looking well in advance.

Can I use Suburban-Rentals to sell my property?
   
 
Yes and no. We are not here to list properties for sale. We recommend getting a realtor. But we can provide you some tools to effectively market your property should you decide to do it on your own. We post some listings of properties for sale for our customers that use our photography and video services. Call us for more details. We also provide photography and video services for realtors to use on their own web sites as well as give them and their properties additional exposure on our site.

How much traffic does your site get?
   
 
Currently I am quoting averages at over 1000 hits per day. But after the first of the year it has been more like 1200-1600 hits per day. We have even had a few days that have been over the 2000 mark. I can provide more detailed information such as how much traffic a particular area gets by your request. Feel free to contact us for for more details.

How do people find your site?
   
 
We advertise in many local publications including The Columbus Dispatch, The Ohio State Lantern, The Other Paper, Columbus Alive, Suburban News Publications, The Daily Reporter, and Columbus Monthly. We have signs posted throughout town by both us and our customers. We subscribe to online advertising services through search engines including Google, Yahoo, Ask, Overture and more. We support local events (such as tours of homes, parades, and promotions) and are members of many local organizations. We have links on numerous other web sites.

What is the difference between a regular classified listing and a Featured Property Listing?
   
 
A Featured Property Listing is basically an online brochure on your property that will give your place more exposure on our site and a tool that you can use in many different ways. (See current examples here) Because it will have a specific web address you can you can direct individuals directly to your property page without going through the entire web site. There are many advantages to this type of ad. Feel free to contact us for guidance. Our goal is to help you effectively market your property and keep the vacancies down.

Can I advertise properties that are in areas not listed on the Suburban-Rentals web site?
   
 
Yes. If you have a property that is Suburban area in an area that does not have a classified page on our site, we will create on for you. If you have a property fits inside the Metro area, we will post it on our affiliate site, www.Metro-Rentals.com. If you have a property that is not appropriate for either site either because of location, demographic, or condition, and you are listed as a Featured Owner on our site, it may be listed on your individual page.

What are the advantages to being listed as a Featured Owner on the site?
   
 
Pricing is one. We discount our listing rates and services for Featured Owners. Exposure is another. You'll be listed in multiple pages on our site and a link to your individual page will appear in all of your classified listings. Convenience is another. Your Featured Owner page functions just like your own private web site. Direct people to your individual page so they may access your information without them having to go through the entire Suburban-Rentals web site.

I don't have a lot of properties and only a few vacancies a year. Why should I become a Featured Owner?
   
 
Don't just look at your advertising expense for the year. Do the math; your annual advertising expense plus the loss of rental income due to vacancy. You'll see the advantage. Now add in the additional utility expenses of a vacant unit. Think about your time spent answering and returning telephone calls. By keeping a constant presence on the web and marketing your properties months in advance you'll keep your vacancies to a minimum.
